J&J and AALC Recruitment Campaign ...

SMDgroup was contracted to collaborate with an event and promotional marketing group to develop a strategic initiative for The African American Leadership Council (AALC). The objective was to increase awareness for its organization. Their primary goal was to make Johnson & Johnson the number one choice for both African – American college recruits and young professionals, while bringing health awareness to the community. We recommended a marketing campaign that would support deliverables through calendars, brochures, promotional items and other collateral materials.
A specific website would be developed where job seekers can find role models inside Johnson & Johnson to connect with (similar to LinkedIn), and where email recruitment campaigns can tie back to the website. This site would be populated with pertinent information to careers at Johnson & Johnson.
The primary goal was to:

Expand health awareness in the African American community and provide marketing/promotional support and materials to deciminate during college and job fairs for new hires, recruits and young professionals. These marketing tools would relate back to the recruitment brochures, emails, job site listings, health journals, calendars and promotional materials which would help reinforce the branding and the message of health and wellness. This recruitment marketing program would serve as an additional incentive to join Johnson & Johnson.
